New for the 2008 - 09 Season

Our rental shop is undergoing a complete overhaul for the 2008-2009 ski season.  A new user friendly location in the Treasury Center is sure to make the rental process smoother than ever and with over 100 sets and 18 different models of the this years' hottest demo skis our Elite Ski line is sure to get you making the best turns of your life.  The new Elite snowboard fleet will offer more experienced riders the best gear on the market.  While an expanded selection of women specific skis and boards caters to the specific anatomical needs of a women's body to ensure both comfort and high performance.  For the young rippers, the new junior elite package includes a selection of park and pipe skis and is perfect for our more advanced skiers ages 10 to 14. 

Crested Butte Rentals is sure to be the area's fastest and most convenient shop with free ski storage right off-slope.  For those of you with your own gear an improved equipment services facility with a  Grindrite 2100 ILT computerized ski and snowboard stone and belt grinder will get your gear tuned for perfection.  In the hands of our experienced techs, you too can have a ride that performs like new again.

Package Descriptions


Sport Ski Package - (Adult) $29.00 / day   (Junior) $19.00 / day
This package includes your choice of 4 different shaped skis for never-evers to advanced intermediate skiers. If you are not sure which model will suit you best, our technicians will assist you. The boots in this package are the Dalbello MXR and new Salomon Performa 500, considered to be one of the best fitting, best performing and easiest to use rental boots.

Elite Ski Package - (Adult) $40.00 / day   (Junior) $35.00 / day
This package is ideal for strong intermediate to expert skiers who want the highest level of performance and comfort. The Elite Ski Package includes Salomon Boots and a wide selection of this years' hottest skis. Elite customers can switch out and try different models throughout your stay.

Sport Snowboard Package - (Adult) $29.00 / day   (Junior) $19.00 / day
This package includes the Learn To Ride (LTR) beginner snowboard from Burton or the Burton Cruzer, snowboarding equipment that makes learning to ride easier and more fun.

Elite Snowboard Package - (Adult) $40.00 / day  
This package includes the latest snowboards from Burton. Elite customers can switch models and try a different ride.

Skiboard Package
These short fat skis are the rage with kids and teens. We offer the Big Easy 95 a wide, twintipped model with releasable bindings ideal for playing around the mountain or in the terrain park.

Telemark Ski Package
"Free your heel, Free your mind." Whether you our just trying telemark skiing for the first time or if you're a seasoned pro, our telemark packages will get you dropping the knee in no time.  Garmont boots and K2 telemark skis will ensure that you've got the perfect gear to get you down the hill in style.

Snowshoes
Snowshoeing is the hottest new winter activity for adults and kids.  Snowshoeing opportunities in the immediate area range from mild to wild. We also offer daily, guided snowshoe tours on the ski area with rentals available for shoers of all ages, sizes and abilities.  For information on tours please call the Adventure Desk

Helmets
Helmets are available in kids and adult sizes. First-come first-served basis. No reservations.

Crested Butte Ski & Snowboard is now located slope side in the lower level of the Treasury Center.
Open 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. 7 days a week

• All rates are per day unless stated otherwise, and do not include tax or damage insurance (optional).
• Reservations are highly recommended and must be received and processed within 48 hours of arrival during regular season. Save 10% for reserving in advance.
• 7 day lead-time during high-volume periods is necessary to ensure availability.
• All reservations require a non-refundable $10.00 deposit
• Travel agents/Wholesalers: Some rentals are commissionable. Please contact us as noted below for more information.
• Equipment is available for rent on a component basis. Contact us for ski and boot only rates.
