What's New for 2008-2009
Crested Butte Mountain Resort is moving forward with plans and improvement projects for the 2008-2009 winter season after experiencing the resort's snowiest winter on record last season, with a total of 421 inches of snow and an unprecedented 100 inch base on closing day.

Increased Air Access
This winter skiers and snowboarders have more choices when flying direct to Crested Butte Mountain Resort.  The ski area and the Gunnison Valley Rural Transportation Authority have teamed up to increase the amount of seats flying into Gunnison/Crested Butte Regional Airport for the 2008-2009 season.

New Crested Butte Mountain Sports Team
The Mountain Sports Team will work to build comprehensive mountain sports programs that are accessible to a wide variety of driven student athletes. The Team offers various levels of programming from weekend recreational programs to full-time, competitive based programs.

Crested Butte Launches the Master Vision
The Master Vision is meant to show the big picture improvements that have already happened and those that are on the way.  Since buying the ski area in 2004, Tim and Diane Mueller and other area developers have invested $315 million in amenities both on and off the mountain.  As you explore the Master Vision, you will notice that what has happened recently is just the beginning with another $2.2 billion of resources being poured into every element of our future.
